Welcome to the Official MACAA Website

Welcome to the official online home of the Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association (MACAA).

For more than 30 years, the MACAA has been committed to promoting Christian athletics that honor the Lord Jesus Christ. From its early beginnings as the NCCAC and later the NCCAA, the MACAA has always been a conference where every member school has a voice and a vote. What began as an association for smaller Christian schools has grown—through vision, unity, and cooperation—into a thriving conference serving schools of all sizes.

Our mission remains unchanged:
To honor God by using athletics to influence the next generation for His glory.

Our Goal

The MACAA exists to create an environment where middle and high school student-athletes (grades 5–12) can compete at a high level while growing in character and faith.

Although our schools compete on the field and court, we are united by a shared mission:

Engage. Equip. Empower.

Engage
We meet each student-athlete where they are—spiritually, academically, and athletically.

Equip
We develop individual talent through healthy competition, strong teamwork, and disciplined preparation.

Empower
We send young men and women into the world with qualities that extend far beyond the scoreboard—character, leadership, and faith.

Our desire is to unite Christ-centered schools that seek to impact and influence students through athletics. Together, we work to create a competitive environment that honors God, represents our schools well, and develops the total student-athlete.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the MACAA is to provide an organized association for athletic competition between Christian schools that meet our standards of participation.

Through interscholastic competition, we strive to:

  • Promote and showcase the athletic talents and Christian testimonies of young people

  • Foster cooperation and fellowship among member schools

  • Develop leadership and character rooted in biblical principles

  • Model attitudes and actions that reflect Christ in all areas of competition

We believe athletics are more than games—they are opportunities for growth, testimony, and lasting impact.

Our Statement of Faith

The MACAA seeks to participate not only in competition, but in Christian fellowship. In order to maintain a Scriptural and brotherly atmosphere of unity, all member schools agree to the following statement of faith:

We Believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and future return in power and glory.

  • That salvation comes only through genuine repentance and faith in the precious blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ—not by works of righteousness.

  • In the regeneration and indwelling of the Holy Spirit in every believer.

  • In the visible, bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rapture His Church and judge the world.

  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—eternal life for the saved and eternal judgment for the lost.

  • In a literal Heaven and a literal Hell.

  • That believers are called to live separated unto Christ, setting standards of conduct that exalt our Lord and His Church.

The Statement of Faith may not be amended.

The MACAA is built upon principles that shape both our competition and our conduct:

  • Humility

  • Character

  • Respect
